Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate German Language Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background in German language studies, experience in teaching, and the ability to effectively convey both the language and the cultural nuances of Germany. The role requires planning and delivering lessons, supporting students, and preparing them for exams such as TELC and other level certifications.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in German, German as a Foreign Language, or a related field.
- Experience in teaching German to non-native speakers.
- Fluency in both German and English.
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver German language lessons covering levels A1 to B2.
- Develop and administer tests, examination papers, and exercises.
- Provide constructive feedback to students in both oral and written formats.
- Create and produce new educational materials as needed.
- Participate in and contribute to training sessions and internal events.
- Prepare for inspections and provide relevant information.
- Perform administrative tasks such as attendance tracking and documentation.
- Support students by evaluating their progress and addressing their learning needs.
- Introduce students to German culture and lifestyle to enhance their learning experience.
- Prepare students for TELC and other level certification exams.
- Regularly evaluate and monitor students’ progress.
- Attend teachers' meetings and collaborate with colleagues.
- Undertake any additional tasks assigned by the management.
